Terms and Conditions of Boot Security Mastery Conference


1. Organizer

  • 1.1. The Boot Security Mastery Conference (“Conference”) is organized by 3mdeb Sp. z o.o. (“Organizer”), a company registered in Poland.
  • 1.2. The Conference will take place in Poland in Gdańsk and welcomes participants internationally.

2. Acceptance of Terms

  • 2.1. By registering for the Conference or any associated training sessions, you explicitly agree to these Terms and Conditions.
  • 2.2. The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
  • 2.3. Updated versions will be posted on the event website and are effective immediately upon publication.

3. Registration and Tickets

  • 3.1. Participation requires mandatory registration through the official online self-hosted ticketing platform linked on the event website: bsmconf.com .
  • 3.2. Tickets are offered in different types and prices:
    • 3.2.1. Symbolic fee tickets for the conference days separately for remote and local participation.
    • 3.2.2. Paid tickets for training sessions during training days only for local particiaption.
    • 3.2.3. Sponsors receive training tickets according to their sponsorship package.
    • 3.2.4. Non-sponsors may purchase training tickets separately.
  • 3.3. Conference ticket pricing tiers include:
    • 3.3.1. Early Bird Tickets (until June 15, 2026)
    • 3.3.2. Regular Tickets (June 16 – August 31, 2026)
    • 3.3.3. Late / Last Minute Tickets (September 1 - September 20, 2026)
  • 3.4. All ticket prices are quoted without VAT. Applicable VAT will be added during payment as per local regulations.
  • 3.5. Ticket sales for specific training sessions will be launched gradually as the training topics are announced.
  • 3.6. Payments must be made via the official online payment methods only.
  • 3.7. Cash payments or purchases via cryptocurrencies are not accepted.
  • 3.8. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse attendance to any participant whose payment has not been completed 2 days before the start of the Conference or training.

4. Refund Policy

  • 4.1. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
  • 4.2. Resale of tickets resulting in a change of participants is allowed but no later than 30 days before the start of the event. To transfer a ticket to another person, please notify the Organizer by email at: events@3mdeb.com

5. Code of Conduct

  • 5.1. We are 100% committed to providing a welcoming, safe, and friendly environment for all attendees, speakers, sponsors, staff.
  • 5.2. Acceptable behaviour includes being considerate, respectful, collaborative, and courteous to everyone.
  • 5.3. Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, demeaning behaviour, or any speech or actions that create an unsafe or unwelcome environment will not be tolerated. This includes deliberate targeting or actions that make others feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, or afraid.
  • 5.4. Please alert the Organizers immediately if you notice any dangerous situation or if someone appears to be in distress.
  • 5.5. Consuming alcohol during conferences or training sessions is not permitted.
  • 5.6. Possession or use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited in all Conference spaces.
  • 5.7. Weapons or any potentially dangerous items are forbidden.
  • 5.8. Clothing that may be offensive to local customs, laws, or sensibilities is not allowed.
  • 5.9. Failure to comply with venue rules or Conference policies may result in immediate removal and notification of local authorities, and in the case of remote participants, their disconnection, without the right to reconnect.
  • 5.10. Plagiarism or unauthorized use of others’ work will be addressed seriously, potentially leading to withdrawal from the event.
  • 5.11. Participants asked to stop any unacceptable behaviour must comply immediately.
  • 5.12. The Organizer reserves the right to respond to breaches appropriately, including expulsion without refund and referral to authorities.
  • 5.13. Photography and videography are permitted; attendees acknowledge being in a public space where images may be taken. However, participants should respect others’ wishes not to be photographed.
  • 5.14. The Organizer reserves the right to use images, films and likenesses taken during the event for future marketing materials.
  • 5.15. Participants are expected to respect the Conference agenda and be punctual for all sessions and trainings.

6. Attendees’ Responsibility

  • 6.1. Access to the Conference or training may be restricted under applicable laws, including EU regulations on sanctioned countries. Please consult your local regulations.
  • 6.2. Participants are responsible for their own health and well-being during the event, including food allergies and interaction with others.
  • 6.3. Each participant is responsible for the safety of their personal belongings to prevent theft or damage.
  • 6.4. Conference badges (identification) will be issued during onboarding only to the registered attendee. If a ticket is resold or transferred, the Organizer must be informed at least 30 days before the Conference. Failure od delay by notifying may result in denial of entry for the unknown participant.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

  • 7.1. The Organizer collects and processes personal data of participants strictly for the purposes of managing the Conference and related communications.
  • 7.2. Personal data categories include name, surname / nickname, contact information, payment details, and participation records.
  • 7.3. Data processing complies with GDPR and other applicable laws. Data is stored securely with limited access.
  • 7.4. Personal data will not be shared with third parties except for service providers supporting the Conference or as required by law.
  • 7.5. Participants consent to being photographed, recorded, or filmed during the event for promotional and documentation uses.
  • 7.6. Participants have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of their data, which can be exercised by contacting the Organizer.
  • 7.7. By registering for the Conference or training, the participant consents to the Organizer saving and processing personal data (including name, surname / nickname, telephone, email, and billing address) for accounting, billing, and event-related communications.
  • 7.8. Participants may be contacted by the Organizer or trainers with additional information regarding the event or training.

8. Intellectual Property

  • 8.1. All intellectual property rights in presentations, training materials, and other Conference content remain with the respective owners.
  • 8.2. Participants receive a limited license to view and use materials for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
  • 8.3. Unauthorized recording, reproduction, distribution, or public sharing of Conference content is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • 9.1. The Organizer is not liable for loss or damage to participants’ personal belongings. Participants should keep their belongings secure at all times.
  • 9.2. The Organizer is not responsible for participants’ travel, accommodation, full-day meals, or other personal expenses. The ticket price does not include it.
  • 9.3. Catering or social events are at participants’ own risk.
  • 9.4. The Organizer’s maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the ticket.
  • 9.5. The Organizer is not liable for force majeure events or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

10. Event Changes and Cancellation by Organizer

  • 10.1. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the Conference until July 31, 2026 (cutoff date) if sponsorship or ticket sales targets are not met. In such case, full refunds can be provided.
  • 10.2. The Organizer may modify the Conference agenda, venue, location, dates, or speakers as necessary. Such changes will not substantially diminish the benefits described for attendees.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • 11.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Poland.
  • 11.2. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Polish courts.
